We stayed at the Quality Inn-Sonora when traveling to and from the Big Bend area. The motel was great! It was easy to get to. Very clean and also quiet, even though it's close to the Interstate. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Even though we were using reward points, staff were happy to accommodate our request for a ground floor room. We would definitely stay here again if we happen to be going that way. Recommended!
Stopped here when running into a really bad thunderstorm driving in from Colorado. We decided to just sleep and wait till morning. Our room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, we would definitely return.
For a 2-star hotel this place was better than some of the 3-stars I've stayed in. The room was clean and up to date. Bed and pillows were comfy and it had everything we needed. Only complaint is the king bed frame in rm 135. Tends to be a little noisy when moving or getting in and out of the bed. But it didn't bother us too much. Overall, we had a great stay!
Pleasantly suprised. We had a room in the back but the road noise stopped completely after dark. There is an area behind the inn to stretch your legs and a picnic table The room was spotless. Not sure what to put for service as we did not ask for anything. The guy at check in was pleasant. A good night's sleep is what we paid for and we got one.
We had a wonderful experience at Quality Inn Sonora TX. So great we would even bring our moms here ! It was our halfway stop from Houston to Big Bend. We booked the hotel based on the reviews and our previous experience with the Quality Inn brand. The rooms were very clean and seemed recently remodeled. Beds were very clean and the bathrooms were nice and had very hot water. Breakfast opened at 6 am and had eggs, sausage, waffles , biscuits , oatmeal etc . The lobby was very nice , quiet and modern furniture. We would definitely stop again and recommend it to friends and family
I am having a pleasant experience during my weekend stay .. room is clean. Plenty of towels. Linens are clean and fresh. Bathroom is equipped and toiletries provided. All area and appliances needed for my stay are in great condition. Complimentary breakfast was superb. If I am staying in Sonora again. I will definitely return. Oh. Great staff !!! Major plus.
Great place. Great value. As a recent Gold customer, I was disappointed that this motel didn't offer a free perk like bottled water or candy. On the return trip, I used a third party room service because it was less expensive than booking at a motel's website. I remember that I had to sign disclaimer that this would not be points eligible for the frequent service program. I was fine with that policy for value sake but honestly some of the competition allowed some points accrual.
We stayed one night in a king with sofa room. Our room was spacious and very clean. It had a refrigerator and microwave. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was basic but had the essentials for an American style breakfast. Instant oatmeal in packets and no non dairy milk. The staff was efficient and friendly.
